I am walking alone in the street
I turn around smiling faces
I search for first morning drizzle,
I find last drizzle on a busy evening.
I admire them who are smiling
When they are returning home,
It is a bit of happy endurance
I ask myself, “Why do you remain gloomy?”
I fail to count long way, walking alone,
I come out from home for finding peace,
I find no answer; I cannot take steps ahead,
I break my vision, it is symbol of ageing.
I feel bored; the world is like a big wall,
I cannot climb, and cannot reach other side
Where all smiling faces are like a silent river
Flowing through gesture of tranquility,
I am abandoned alone in the evening rain.
Artisans are ready to deliver idols of Devi Durga
Enough colorful in designed traditional ambiance
In pattern of incessant devotion of devotees
Of Mother Durga for peace and destruction of evils,
In the war against Mahishasura and She is recognized as
MahishasuraMardini, we are praising Her in this festive season.
Note: Earlier poem, ANOTHER BLOSSOM
That day I am mystified with life,
Just I move with my camera and
I move through images of Goddess Durga
Artists are making idols with trust and beauty,
And I begin to feel like artists to create
Images of mind’s strangeness and blues
Of life and tenacity, and then I stop here
Testament can come from motherly arrival
Of Devi Durga, and all are waiting for time
To show the world the demise of evil
And my feeling goes in a change to go home,
Pray for mind’s recovery from mystified zeal,
Arrival of Goddess Durga gets the power to take
Me back to the world where I will find soothing zone,
With singing of birds, nice weather, and paddy harvesting.
Artists are preparing deity of Mother Durga
Her arrival cannot be only symbolic
As a daughter comes home,
From husband’s abode, this autumn,
It is language close to sending message
To our hearts to fresh blossom
With love in sprinkles of Her blessings,
We are praying for it every year.
